Hot Hot Hot

It's been a while since I last posted an entry in this blog. I got so caught up with so many things. I just changed template....today! So far, I like it. I hope this colors will help me get motivated in posting more often.

What's up for today? Ah! getting hotter and hotter here in the South. Summer just started but boy oh boy! our temperature has reached 3 digits already. Right now it's not really that hot but the humidity is killing me. Can you imagine 9 o'clock in the morning sweating like crazy? When I don't have work, I get out and water our garden early in the morning. These past few days, I am usually outside the garden around 7 or past 7 and just try to water the plants quickly, so I can hide and cool off. Sometimes we wanted to jump on the pool to cool off but most of the time the pool water temperature is also high, so we can't do anything until night time. Whew! I can't imagine what August will fell like. We will probably be burning. *Sigh!

Larry The Cable Guy Delta Farce

We watched Larry the Cable Guy movie entitled "Delta Farce". The movie is hilarious. This comedy movie is about the three blue collar heroes. If you have not seen the movie yet, find it and watch for yourself. You can play the video below. It's a thriller of Delta Farce.

Gnomes Have To Wait

I have several garden gnomes that needs repainted but I don't have the time to do it. I guess those cute garden gnomes just have to wait a little longer when I get free time to sit down and re-paint them. Sometimes I just wish I can do more things at the same time. Don't you?

Cutting Grass

It was raining for a couple of days and I was glad for it because rain water is good for my plants. It makes them grow faster. The only thing that I don't like about rain (sometimes) is that, it does not only nourish the flowers and vegetables but it also has a good effect of grass. It makes the grass grow faster too. So, after a couple of days raining, I have to go outside and cut the grass as well, even though I just cut grass last week. Yay!

I guess that's how it goes. Everything has its positive and negative side, makes the world balance.

I got lucky that this morning, the sun has not been out yet. I had to go outside and cut the grass real quick. I was lucky, I beat the sun. You know how that is, when you're working outside and the sun is shining good, you get tired faster because you're sweating as well. This morning is cool.

I'm Almost Done Baby

I was reading a book while waiting for my husband to get ready. We are planning to go to one of the malls in the city to get something. I was deeply engaged with the book I was reading, then all of the sudden I heard him say, "I'm almost done baby". I did not say anything but my mind was so quick in replying "yeah me too" and then I wonder why I thought of those words.

I pondered and realized that I really don't want to go with him to buy the stuffs we need for tomorrow. I am so darn tired from work and even a shower and that few hours of rest I got has not rejuvenated myself. So I guess I'm almost done for the day too and don't really want to do anything anymore. I did not mean anything bad about that "yeah me too" thought. I just realized that sometimes our mind is quick to give a snappy comeback. Good thing that I don't have the mouth that speaks faster than what my mind is thinking.

Do you know someone that opens their mouth first before they even think? Sometimes, it can get ugly, you know?
